How does renting work?

Reserve Your Piece
Browse the collection on my RENT page to find the piece you want, then contact me via DM or email to check availability and reserve it. -
Purchase your rental
Once your booking dates are confirmed with me, you can purchase the rental through my website just like any other product. -
Choose your delivery option
Select Shipping ($20 return) or Pickup ($0 Whitford, AKL) at checkout. -
Receive your rental
Your garment will arrive ready to wear. If shipping, it’s sent via tracked NZ Post courier. -
Return after your event
Pack the piece back in the original SKANONIE box and drop it off at NZ Post by 12pm on your return day.
How do I return my rental?
Pack the piece back in the original SKANONIE box, attach the prepaid courier label and return address over the old one's, and seal the lid with the clear sticker provided. All rentals need to be dropped off over the counter at an NZ Post shop by 12pm on your return day. Please do not use a postbox. Late returns may incur a fee.
Do I need to clean the garment?
Nope! Just return it unwashed — I’ll take care of cleaning.
Can I try on the pieces before renting?
don’t offer in-person try-ons. Detailed measurements are provided for each piece. If you’re unsure, message me and I’ll help you find the best fit.
How do I know what size to choose?
Each rental lists a general size (like 8, 10, etc.) along with exact measurements for bust, waist, and hips. If you need help, just send me your measurements and I’ll guide you.
What if the item doesn’t fit?
I can help you choose the right size ahead of time, but I don’t offer refunds for incorrect sizing.
Where do you ship rentals to?
Rentals are available within New Zealand only, sent via tracked NZ Post overnight courier, or you can choose pickup in Whitford, Auckland.
Can I pick up or drop off in person?
Yes! Pickup the day before your event and drop back after. Choose the pickup option at checkout and I’ll arrange a time.
What if I damage the garment?
Minor wear and tear is expected. If serious damage occurs, you may be asked to either pay for repair/replacement costs. Please contact me as soon as possible if something happens.
Live in a rural area?
Rural shipping may take longer. If this applies, I’ll send your rental a day earlier — just select RURAL at checkout.
What if my event is cancelled or I change my mind?
- 5+ days before your event: You can cancel and receive a refund or reschedule.
- Within 5 days of your event: Rental fees are non-refundable, as the piece has already been reserved and prepared.
